About Me
My name is Zoe England. I am a mixed-media artist with a special passion for puppetry, props, and costuming. Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I am surrounded by our art scene. Pair that with being raised on all things silly, campy, creative, and fantastical you get me.
Much of my inspiration comes from the work of Jim Henson, Brian Froud, Deborah Lynn Scott, Stan Winston, and Carol Burnett. My goal for my work is to bring whimsy and joy to all that I share it with,
When I am not dreaming up fantasy creatures and costumes, I’m spending time with my 4 dogs and my husband. I like to say I have a lazy susan of crafts in my brain. I like the challenge of trying a new skill, most of the time I see a new type of art and think “how hard can it possibly be?”.
